Phenacobius catostomus : ウィキペディア英語版 | Phenacobius catostomus
The common name of Phenacobius catostomus is the riffle minnow. This fish inhabits riffles in warm streams of medium to large size, in the U.S. states of Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, above the fall line.〔Goldstein, Robert et al. (American Aquarium Fishes ), p. 134 (Texas A&M University Press, 2000).〕 Long and slender, it averages about in length.〔 This fish is not to be confused with Alburnoides bipunctatus, which is also known as a "riffle minnow", and is located in Europe and Asia. The American riffle minnow is olive on top, and white below.〔 ==References== 〔
